A planning application to relocate a Grade 2 boundary stone has been submitted
Christ Church and Dorchester Residential Management have submitted a planning application to South Oxfordshire District Council to relocate the listed boundary stone to the north east of its current location.
The relocation of the boundary stone and two associated stones is part of wider plans for 1,450 new homes along with 120 assisted living units which will include 50 per cent affordable homes including a variety of tenures.
The Listed Boundary Stone is a limestone block with a rectangular flat face and marked with the date 1684 and the initials T.W. It has been previously moved and is currently grouped with two other stones, one of which is thought to be a gatepost.
The stones will be set in a beautifully landscaped area just to the north east of their current location, allowing their current site to be used for access to the planned Bayswater Brook development.
